Speech Pathology question?
So, in my undergrad program, we finally got our client assignments. I’m so excited, but at the same time, I am kind of scared. Therapy starts next week! Holy cow! Anyway, for those of you out there that see the speech posts here on Tumblr like I do, I have a question…or two. lol. My client has problems with initial /v/ production in words and problems with all /s/ blend production. What are some good approaches to take? He is 4 and apparently isn’t big on games/activities that are extremely rule based.

Work time! 4-12 today and tomorrow, Noon-8 on Wednesday and I am done! No more crazy druggies coming in and hitting on me in the gas station! Woo!

A more in depth update:
Well, I took the GRE yesterday! I was soooo nervous. I could barely even eat beforehand. :/ However, after I took it, I was pleasantly surprised at my unofficial results for my first time. I am sort of nervous to see how I did over all though. Expect an update on that in a couple weeks. :) I’m sure I will have to take it again, but still. I’m pleased.
After my test, my Dad treated me to Red Lobster and I went shopping for vacation/Christmas cruise clothes. I got a fabulous pair of heels and I plan on posting a picture of those. Just not tonight. Haha.
When we got home, a bat apparently got into my house as I posted last night. It took a couple hours, but we were finally able to get them out. Talk about a pain. I may have screamed a little bit. haha. Oh well.
Anyway, I guess it is bedtime. I had a long day of work and I am super tired. <3 Leave me stuff.

I just spent the past 2 hours trying to get a bat out if my house. What the heck?! Ugh. Bedtime. More of an update tomorrow.

It’s here! I’m taking the GRE today and I am ridiculously nervous. :( My theory…if I’m gonna be all scared/nervous, I may as well look sorta cute in the process. haha. It makes me feel a little better anyway. At least after today it is over….unless I have to take it again soon. Then I will be studying again (even though my book is literally falling apart).

I’ve been studying too long…
I am writing the synonyms for common words from my GRE book. The first thing that comes to my mind when I am writing the words for “prevent/obstruct” should not be cock-block. I think the intelligent part of my brain is shutting down. Lol.
